KL "Lungs"

While I don't have pictures (yet) of the trees from the LRT (Light Rail Transport) - KL has done a nice job keeping plenty of trees.  The shade and the "lungs" are much appreciated with all the traffic, concrete and asphalt.

While there is plenty of places with potholes, broken sidewalks, etc - there are also very new, well maintained parks and facilities.

Notice the combo of shade and water!

In general, not a fan of repeat pictures but these show two different "views" of the trees.

The lack of roots and the tops.

Perspective of solid wood and vines - as well as proof Jessica was there

Very classy - although not likely to see any whales in the KL rivers

Erosion?  What erosion - life will find a way to thrive

Celebrating the martial spirit and history of Malaysia.  Every culture needs their rationalizations and illusions - there are much worse ones

Just finished reading a trilogy of historical fiction on Ghengis Khan - a warrior for all time but wonder what did the Mongols do but destroy?

Giant artistic fan without power

Tropics - where there is water - there is greenery.

Big fan of the types of greenery - Toto - we aren't in Kansas anymore!
